Insurance Information
The district has contracted with Safeware, the largest insurer of technology in the world, to provide coverage for the laptops that are leased through our program. Recognizing the increasing use of computers in the everyday learning activities of students, Safeware has developed this policy as a protection plan that insures notebook computers used by children in kindergarten through high school in public school systems. The policy is designed specifically for our students who will travel with their computers and expose their laptops to an ever-increasing risk of theft and accidental damage.
It is important to note that any laptop that is leased through Gateway must carry the insurance package we offer. Parents that choose to purchase their child's laptop have the option of purchasing the same coverage at the rates below.

This policy protects in many ways, but it does not cover these major losses: |
