First Annual Hilltown Chili Challenge

The First Annual Hilltown Chili Challenge will be held on Friday, March 31 from 6 - 8:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Gateway Regional High School. Admission is $5 and covers a sampling of up to 20 chili varieties. Competitors, judges needed. Read more!

The vision of the Chester Elementary School staff is to create a learning environment that fosters respect, encourages curiosity and creates a desire in each child to attain his/her potential and become a confident life-long learner.

Student Registration

New to the district?


If you are moving into Blandford, Chester or Middlefield and your child is entering kindergarten - Grade 4 they will be attending Chester Elementary School. 

Please click on the link below, print out the enrollment form, complete it and then call 413-685-1360 to make an appointment to finish the registration process. We look forward to you joining our school.

    For the love of chili!

    Competitors AND judges needed! (Contact Dawne Piers-Gamble by March 21). Up to 20 competitors will compete for the first annual "Best Chili in the Hilltowns" trophy!

    Admission is $5 and you can sample up to 20 chili varieties, along with beverages and corn bread. Homemade desserts will be available at an additional charge.

    Sponsored by, and a fundraiser for, the freshman class at Gateway Regional High School.
