In response to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' declining fiscal support of education and local taxpayers' desire to express their frustration to legislators, Friends of Gateway has initiated a "Unite and Write" campaign. FOG has begun to develop a database of email addresses of those who would like to write, on average, once a month to legislators stressing various topics. It is important to FOG to make the process as easy and painless as possible. FOG has already connected with a similar group from Mohawk Regional School District and plans to coordinate efforts to send a strong message to the State House in Boston. Together we can make a difference and get fair funding for rural regional school districts!
