V.92 Technology

To access the new V.92 standard, dial-up Internet customers must have V.92 modem and reside in an area where we offer the technology. Presently, all phone lines for Gateway On-Line's dial-up Internet subscribers currently have access to the V.92 technology. To use Modem-on-Hold you must also have Call-Waiting service from their local phone company to receive the incoming call, and then switch back to their Internet connection.
