MacOS X Internet Setup
Instructions
1. Go to the Apple Menu and
select System Preferences.
2. Click on Network.
3. Click the arrow box on the
Show pop-up list and choose Internal Modem.

Click
the PPP tab.

Enter Gateway
On-Line in the
Service Provider field.
6.
Enter
the Gateway On-Line Access Number into the Telephone Number field.
To insure that you
have a toll free connection to the Internet, make sure that you
view the list of
access numbers and choose the correct number for your locality.
7.
Enter
your Gateway On-Line username in the Account Name field.
8.
Enter
your Gateway On-Line password in the Password field.
9.
Click
on the Proxies
tab.
10. Uncheck all the boxes.
11. Click on PPP Options
12. Check the Session Option ÔConnect
automatically when starting TCP/IP applicationsÕ.
13. Check the Advanced Options:

Use
TCP header compression
á
Use
verbose logging
12. Click the Apply Now Button.
