Blandford students collecting “Pennies for Patients”

Blandford - Over the next few weeks, students at Blandford Elementary School will be participating in the Pennies for Patients program to benefit The Leukemia &Lymphoma Society.  It will run from March 5 to March 23. 

The concept of this program is to have children help other children, and that’s what we plan to do!  Our goal this year is to raise $250 to aid in the Society’s mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families.

We will be doing all this in honor of a local patient hero who has been affected by a blood cancer.  Our hero this year is Kaitlin Mastello.
