Public Hearing on the 2007-08 School Budget

Huntington – Superintendent David Hopson has announced that the Public Hearing for the 2007-08 school year budget will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 in the Gateway Performing Arts Center.  The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

This will be the last opportunity for the public to weigh in on any proposed changes to educational programs, student fees, town assessments, and any other budgetary items before the School Committee votes to adopt the budget on March 14, 2007.

By law, the school committee must adopt a budget 45 days before the first town meeting date.

The Gateway Performing Arts Center is located in the Middle/High School building on Littleville Road in Huntington.  The doors to the auditorium are off of the main entryway of the building.  Parking is available in the main parking lot.
