Huntington- Gateway High School Principal Kathleen McSweeney has scheduled monthly forums for the 2006-2007 school year to discuss high school issues, answer questions, and to obtain input from the public.  McSweeney and Assistant Principal Laurie Marvel will be on hand one evening a month for the school year, for dialogue with any interested parents, students, and community members.

“These meetings do not contain any pre-determined agenda,” explained McSweeney.  “It is just an open time when people can have the opportunity to speak with school administration.  Mrs. Marvel and I will be available each month to anyone who wishes to meet with us about their ideas or concerns for the high school.”

The forums are scheduled for one Monday evening each month, from 5 – 6 p.m. in the Principal’s Conference Room, located in the high school office. The first forum will take place on September 25th; additional dates for the remainder of the school year are October 30, November 27, December 18, January 29, February 26, March 26, April 30, May 21, and June 18.

The public is invited and encouraged to participate in these evenings with high school administrators.
