Save the Date for Wellness Center Health Fair

Huntington- The Gateway Wellness Center is sponsoring a Health Fair on Saturday, December 2nd from 9:00 – noon.  This event will be open to the public, and everyone who attends will receive a free 3-day trial membership.  The day will include exercise classes, goal setting and fitness program design, blood pressure screenings, yoga, smoking cessation and nutrition information, giveaways and raffles, and much more! 

The Gateway Wellness Center is a hilltown gym featuring a range of equipment including treadmills, ellipticals, bikes (upright, recumbent, and training), rowers, free weights, selectorized machines, and a variety of miscellaneous gear including jump ropes, exercise bands, aerobic steps, and exercise balls.  The Wellness Center is open to the public 46.5 hours each week, before and after school and on Saturday mornings until noon.  Members receive a monthly fitness newsletter and can work with Wellness Center staff for assistance in designing a goal setting exercise program.  Many health insurance companies offer reimbursement programs that will help cover the cost of an annual membership.

The Gateway Wellness Center is located by the High School locker rooms and can be entered by following the sidewalk to the farthest right entrance on the front of the school.
