Once there was a crazy dog
He was so crazy he chewed on logs
He would jump up and down when he’s surprised
And cock-a-doodle at sunrise
I found him one day barking at a flea
That was jumping limb to limb on a branch in a tree
Then I brought the crazy dog home
And he ate all my collected stones
Then I brought him to the vet
He didn’t like it, he was very upset
Then when I got back to my house
He chased away my only pet mouse
He chews on sneakers and sneaks up on me
He is a crazy dog, can’t you see
Mom, he’s the perfect pet perfect dog
You said we needed another in your dialogue
My mom said yes
Then he made a mess
Then I said, “So,

Luke is my dog who is really amazing.
He wags and lags all day long.
Very active on the lawn.
But there’s one thing I haven’t told you,
I love him.
Five W’s Poem By Dominick Zobel
The turkey
Needs to run away
Into the forest
On Thanksgiving Day
Because he’ll get eaten
If he doesn’t

Cute and cuddly
Brown and white
That is what my bunny is like.
He is big, yet still a baby.
Very wide and also fat in every way.
I like him like that.
He likes to roll on his back like a dog.
Friendly, not vicious.
Oh, and he loves me too.
I love my rabbit Stripe.
A Couplet by Erica Besancon
School is very, very cool
So when you’re in it, don’t be a fool
Be sure to listen to the rules
And never steal your teacher’s tools
Only raise your hand when you need to
Like, for example, if you have the flu
Or else your teacher will be mad
And you will be very, very sad
Definitely don’t steal her purse
Don’t fake it when you go to the nurse
That’s all I can tell you for now
So long, ciao!
A Free Verse by Spencer Rock
When snowy winter days begin,
Snowflakes fall, and people are building snowmen.
Bears are hibernating, fish are cold, bugs are hiding all around.
Fires are lit to keep you warm, for it seems yesterday was fall.
Summer is over, but it will be back, so enjoy winter while you can.
For spring is on its way.
It has begun, so birds are singing, bears are out, fish are unfrozen.
Snowflakes are gone, snowmen have melted, pretty soon it will be even hotter.
For summer is very soon.
While enjoying summer fun, it is HOT!
Beaches are full and all pools are too.
Pretty soon that will all be over,
For autumn is just around the corner.
The leaves fall and are raked into piles to jump in as autumn passes by.
Everything is getting cold. Pretty soon winter will be back,
For winter is….
Wait a second! This winter hasn’t even passed!!!
