Huntington – March 19th marks opening day of tryouts for the spring sports season: golf, softball and baseball. For those parents and community members who have Internet access, the spring high school sports schedule is posted on the web at www.highschoolsports.net

The opening page will instruct you to select your state and school. This will bring you to a calendar of all of the home and away athletic events for Gateway’s soccer, gymnastics, and cross-country teams. You can look at the sports schedule for the next two days, or select the week, month, or season schedule. Away games are listed with a blue link that, if clicked, gives you driving directions.

Additional information about high school athletics can be found on the Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference website www.pviac.net or the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association website www.miaa.net .   These sites offer in-depth information about current issues in sports, rules and regulations, and other items of interest. 

Gateway High School home games are also featured as part of the schedule of events, posted weekly in the Country Journal and in Breaking News on the district website.  Breaking News is a free e-newsletter of the Gateway Regional School District that is published weekly when school is in session.  To subscribe, send an email to gatewaynews@grsd.org.
