GATEWAY VOLUNTEERS: COME FOR DINNER!
Huntington - The Gateway Regional School District will hold its Third Annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner for all parents and community members who serve our schools. Invitations have gone out through the schools, but tracking the many, many volunteers who support our students and schools is challenging and it is possible that some people did not receive a personal invitation. So, if you served on a committee, council, PTO, or booster club; volunteered in a classroom or parent center; made grinders at the annual Cabin Fever Concert, or served up “Gator Tators” on Booster Field; tutored or read with students; chaperoned a field trip or donated items for a raffle—then this event is for you! The dinner is free of charge to Gateway volunteers and their guests. Dinner will be served in the Gateway cafeteria; activities will take place for children in the Middle School gymnasium. Mark your calendar for Friday, February 9, 2007 and don’t miss this special evening of thanks for the people who do so much for our students! (Snow date will be Saturday, February 10th). Dinner will be served from 5 – 7 p.m. Those planning to attend should call any Gateway school office or 685-1003 and leave your name, phone number, and the number of people attending with you.
