Seven Gateway vocalists selected for Honor Choir Festival

Huntington- Vocal Music Director Jerilyn Beauregard is pleased to announce that seven Gateway vocalists were accepted into the 2006 American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Massachusetts High School Honor Choir.  The Gateway vocalists are:  Joshua  Oleksak, Adam Messier, Robert Slowey, Kelsey Beany, Rachael Krasnor, Hilary Anderson, and Ashley Parady.

The group will perform with high school singers from throughout the state at the Honor Choir Festival at the University of Massachusetts Amherst on Saturday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased by calling the UMASS Amherst Fine Arts Center Box Office at 413-545-02511. 

The Honor Choir will join the UMASS Chamber Choir, Chorale, Madrigal Singers, and Women’s Choir in the evening’s performance.

This is the second year that Gateway students have been invited to participate in the festival.
