Spaghetti Weekend ahead at two Gateway schools

Gateway – If you love spaghetti, don’t miss the back-to-back dinners at Chester and Blandford Elementary Schools coming up!

Chester Elementary School’s PTO is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner on Friday, March 9th with seatings at 5 and 6 p.m.  Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children.  Tikes under age 3 are free, and no family will pay more than $20 for dinner.  The school is also raffling theme-based baskets that are being created by each grade.  These will be raffled off the night of the supper, with raffle tickets sold for $1.00 each, or 6 for $5.00.  Anyone who wants tickets can call the school (685-1360) or Tracey Rock at 354-6443

The following evening, Blandford Elementary School’s PTO is sponsoring a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and jar sale to raise money to purchase shades for the school’s gymnasium windows.  The doors will open at 4:30 to begin the silent auction; dinner will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m.  The auction will close at 6:45 so that all can enjoy the student performances at 7 p.m.  Adult tickets are $7; tickets for children age 12 and under are $4.  Children under age 5 are free.  Please contact the school at 685-1350 to purchase tickets.
