      2+2(+2) Begin the process of preparing for your career of choice by idenitifying your direction prior to your junior year and enrollin gin relevant courses in grads eleven and twelve. Follin ggraduation, link with a college program for two more years of specialized training which results in a certificate or an associate degree. (Extend the educational portion of yoru training by transferring to a four-year college or university).

Apprenticeship      Opportunity to learn technical job skills through on the job training.

Articulation      Process through which a course that you can take in high school gives you high school and college credit. (B average or better).

Associate Degree      Two-year college degree

Bachelor Degree      Four-year college degree

Co-op Program      Work during your senior year in a job and reveive real life experience in your chosen career choice. Finish off four years of planned training with a hands-on opportunity to help you in your planning. Continue in a co-op at the community college.

Mentoring      Process of having adults in the workplace serve as advisors to secondary and post-secondary Tech Prep students.

Internship      Explore your Tech Prep interest by connecting with a person that is pressently doing what you dream of becoming. See what's really out there! Learn from a professional.

Shadowing      Spend time at various places of business, learning what it takes to do the job and deciding if it meets your expectations.

Technology      Applied science taht achieves a practival purpose by improving of machines.

Work Study      Acquire valuable work experience after school in a field related to your in-school educational studies.
