Dear Parents and Guardians,
At Russell Elementary School we strive to meet the needs of all students. The staff believes that every child is unique and is an important individual who can learn. We believe it is our responsibility to serve as facilitators for the development of each child’s maximum potential academically, physically, socially, and emotionally. We are committed to providing opportunities to help students make responsible decisions.
Each student will make academic gains according to the effort that he/she puts fourth. To increase the level of success, teachers, parents, and administrators must communicate frequently concerning student progress. We all want the best for each one of our students, but we also need the support of the families and the community. You must play a key role in the education of your children. Your words of encouragement, a hug at the end of a long day or just talking about what they did that day in class mean so much.
You are important to your child’s success. Please come to school functions. Meet with your child’s teacher and as always, my door will remain open to parents and community members.
Sincerely,
Wendy Woods
