Welcome to Integrated Math I.  In this course we will improve your ability and confidence to work with math on a daily basis.  Engineers, architects, painters. carpenters and teachers are only a few of the people who use mathematics in their daily lives.  Mathematics is applicable and useful in sports, home financing, projects at home and many other ordinary activities.  It is a powerful and useful tool.

In Integrated Math I we will review working with numbers including operations and patterns.We will investigate the language and properties of algebra.  We will work with graphing, percents, proportions and probability. We will consider geometric congruence, similarity and measurement and other topics that time might allow. I hope that you find this course enjoyable.

We may watch episodes from the Number series, which correlate, to our curriculum.  Also, we will likely watch the Nova special on the assassination of President Kennedy in order to demonstrate applied mathematics.
