We began class today with a game sheet for applying knowledge about analytical (inferential) reading.

We then applied the knowledge about all three levels of reading, literal, inferential, and evaluative, to passages in the Wife of Bath's prologue and tale (the battle with Johnny at the end of the prologue and the knight's crime at the beginning of the tale).

Next we finished viewing the claymation version of the Pardoner's tale and analyzed (inferred from) it.

Finally, we returned to the dictionary handout previously begun and proceeded to review more of the questions and answers.

Homework: read, mark, and answer questions for "The Prioress's Prologue and Tale."
