Food Services

Our Food Service Program strives to provide the freshest, top quality foods for our students that meet their daily nutritional needs as outlined by the USDA Dietary Guidelines for Americans: https://www.dietaryguidelines.gov/
Meals served to all students (PK-12) will include one free breakfast and one free lunch per day, per child. For a full meal, students must choose at least 3 items out of the 5 offered which includes a fruit or a vegetable. Any extra servings, meals, or milk alone are not reimbursable and will need to be charged to student accounts. Extra main portion servings are $2.00, extra meals are $3.25 for Elementary students and $3.75 for GRS students, and milk alone is $.50 each.
The Gateway Food & Nutrition Services is made up of trained food and nutrition professionals who put their hearts into service to our students and care about their health and well-being and their ability to be productive in learning. We are also collaborating with our local farms to add more
locally sourced foods into our menus to provide the freshest foods available!

All Gateway Regional Schools (Elementary and Secondary Schools) qualify for free breakfast and lunch under the USDA Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). We are very fortunate to qualify for this program and pledge to continue to provide high quality nutritious foods to Gateway students!
For families who wish to fund their student’s account for additional meals or to purchase additional food items, we have an online pre-payment system. MySchoolBucks is synced with PowerSchool for ease of access to student meal accounts, along with all other student information. Make pre-payments, monitor your student account, and access all other student information in one secure place!
