School Committee

The Gateway Regional School Committee serves as the governing body for the district, responsible for setting policies and goals that guide all educational and operational aspects. Acting like a board of directors, the committee works closely with the superintendent, who serves as their chief executive officer and educational advisor. Their primary duties include approving the school district's budget, hiring and evaluating the superintendent, and establishing educational standards and policies. The committee aims to ensure that the district operates effectively and transparently, providing a high-quality education for all students.
